who do you think pays when the uninsured used emergency rooms?

We do - and if they get free health via the government option they still get it free - but that does not mean they should be allowed the perk of free health care. This all goes back to you assuming they have a job - illegal - and they pay for their health care premiums - which they don't. So to create places that coddle them in any way is not helpful to the goal of keeping them legal. Besides if they're hurt and need an emergency room we already and will continue to pay - it's the ongoing preventive care etc that they should be denied.

So many illegals have drivers licenses and yet they don't buy car insurance so they won't do this for health care either without a forced public option of some type. But again why do you want to give them something in the first place.

Uh, who do you think pays when the uninsured used emergency rooms? Their fairy Godmother?

So how is paying for their insurance better than paying their emergency room bill? IMO it's worse because they would use it more often.

This problem can readily be solved if someone in DC were trying to solve the problem rather than just trying to cram a liberal program down our throats.
