I just joined this group.

My two cents for what it's worth.

How can you cancel shares? It makes no sense. This deal not only creates a lawsuit from investors, it will certainly include the debtors who had warrants (assuming they aren't in on the deal), and would likely cause legal action from the TSX.

If this goes through how can you ever trust any stock listed on the TSX again? I mean you just cancel shares without following the appropriate procedure? If that's the case, then what why does any share on the TSX have any value?

This might be a messed up way of sending a message to buyout investors at an even lower cost than 10 cents.

Either way, the TSX can't stand for this, and if they do, that could lead to a whole new class action lawsuit.

I am dumbfounded by what has gone on this week. My investment isn't even worth the time to fight this, but I feel I have to in order to uphold the integrity of the capital markets.

This story needs to be heard, so that anyone considering purchasing a small cap stock on the TSX understands companies can forgo bankruptcy and just hand itself over to private equity.

Kidl,

You are right, we need to keep things moving forward and this whole thing is business. People need to realize that Allen Vanguard most likely knew there would be a class action and have looked at the cost of settlement. They also when doing the cost benefit worked into it the possibility that shareholders would just move on and the cost would be zero. If people are happy with zero then remain silent, but I am fighting for even 50% of something.

Speak out now, or we play right into their hand.
