And why does being a filthy useless lazy begging drunkard make him special enough to be held to the bosom of Abraham?? Certainly, Solomon (etc.) had far more richness and broke the Law of Mose far more often than this rich man; So "fine linen" is a crime??? Again, one of the Laws of Moses was to cruelly stone an "adulteress" until they died in the throes of agony. So if the rich man disobeys this "law", you call him a "criminal"?? What is the matter with you???

"You're right that the specific Law or Laws that the Rich man broke is not delineated." EXACTLY! SO he should be tortured for eternity--WHY??!! Did he pick up sticks or draw blood out of the wrong toe or hold his mouth in the wrong way or wear clothing with mixed threads?? Did he eat a rabbit or a grasshopper? The Halacha laws recognize that all people sin and ALL are Worthy of forgiveness and are given opportunity to repent. And YOU would have followed the LAW OF MOSES and STONED ADULTERERS TO THEIR DEATH???? No forgiveness like Jesus did to the whores?? No compassion? I guess in your books Jesus was a CRIMINAL like the rich fellow, eh?? Jesus broke the laws of Moses and did not stone the whores to death--etc. etc. etc. Do you want to talk so smug against Jesus??
