RMF, I know that i do understand it. And I believe we still are on the cusp of global collapse, except this time it will be worse.

We didn't dodge a bullet, we just postponed it.

You're still missing my point.

My criticism was that Obama gave unnecessary preferential treatment to unions and that he did it for his own political purposes.

As for the overall economic crisis, the stimulus package wasn't designed to disburse funds promptly, although Obama sold it that way. It was designed to infuse cash right before he had to face re-election---another political strategy to benefit Obama and his party.
