Hi Sara. The topic is socialism and fibre, in the form of so-called PPP, which is the government taxing people and spending a big pile of the loot on fibre to their homes and other places they want it.

Socialism is a perfectly serviceable word. My lengthy experience is that it's not a good idea and this particular idea is already showing up to be very icky, though I am very much in favour of lots of fibre all over the place.

I was asked what I thought about the socialist plans for fibre in NZ. I explained why I thought it's a bad idea. You will believe what you like.
