I was in favor of the elimination of the Department of Education many years ago. Still am. Give some money to local schools, let local people manage education.

Then we got "No child left behind" instead of "Elimination of the Department of Education".

Wrong move.....yeah, yeah, Teddy Kennedy lied to Bush...but he signed the bill.

If we had eliminated the DOE, don't you think things would be better? Smaller Government. Local control.

Hey, bring that up to prolife and Bill. those two habitual drunk drivers think it is just "tragic' when they 'accidentally' run over a school kid after a night out at the bars.
