Obama just wound up his rah rah speech at the UN. It was filled with platitudes and finger wagging. I don't think he gets it that the people in that room are not moved by brilliant oratory. John Bolton's brief remarks on the speech were scathing. It was not one of Obama's better speeches in terms of his grasp of the teleprompter.

1/3 of the worlds resources are not "gone." Much of it is being recycled. I am forced to recycle (I pay whether I do or not, and honestly, I don't have a problem with recycling and do it regularly) by my local trash bureaucracy and I know some in big cities people are fined if they don't do it or don't do it right. Some cities are outlawing plastic bags and require people to bring totes. It is 2nd world nations like China that don't get the message out that recycling is important. Parents need to speak out like David from Camas Washington and tell these creeps to stay away from their kids.
