Liberalism and science reinforce and support each other. In the middle ages, your ilk was suppressing science to the point of burning it's practitioners and exponents alive. Your kind lives today in the "Earth is 6000 years old" crowd.

Is that YOUR church's position, by the way? What does Rev. Rick teach?

There's a line between telling students the fundamentals of evolution and natural selection, and telling students that they're fools to believe in God, yet this line is crossed all the time in higher education.

There are plenty of people out there telling folks they are fools not to believe in God. They go door to door, they have radio and TV programs, they have churches and bumper stickers... they are everywhere is our culture. A few skeptics shouldn't bother you too much.

So what? There's no political litmus test for journalists, either, yet most of them tend to be left-leaning. Same with business people and religious leaders tending to be right-leaning.

It's just the nature of their respective professions.<<

I keep seeing this same theme with you and longshort, Brumar, less, etc.

Look at what you have said above. And what do journalists and university professors and scientists all have in common. A good general working knowledge of how the world actuallly works.

What do business people and religious people have in common. Neither is dependent on a good working of general knowledge. One (relgion) is a dogma and requies no knowledge.

Only 6% of scientist are Republican and 81% lean demoractic.

Why is that do you suppose?
