Politics as usual gets very tiresome. A truly non-partisan effort should be able to solve this problem. I don't see it happening, yet. There are lots of people who don't want it solved as much as they want it to go away, mostly GOP I'm thinking. And yet if the Dems want it solved, why the blocking behavior? Isn't that an example of cutting off your nose to spite your face?
