An interesting aside: The literary agency I worked for had the Huxley Estate and Laura Huxley (Aldous' wife) as clients. It was my job to service the estate (which still produced significant royalties)and I got to know Laura very well visiting her at her home several times. Well into her 90s, she was still a pot-smoker and LSD user. When Huxley was on his death bed, she gave him LSD and presented a rewritten will giving her 80% of the estate and his son Matthew only 20%. She died recently. Instead of keeping the estate in the family (there are 2 grandchildren), she willed the estate to a hippy she met in a Beverly Hills park a few years ago.
