I think this story just now made Dow Jones: Ancor Commun, Schlumberger Unit In Technology Pact Dow Jones News Service via Dow Jones MINNEAPOLIS (Dow Jones)--Ancor Communications Inc. (ANCR) reached an agreement with a unit of Schlumberger Ltd. (SLB) for Ancor's GigWorks Fibre Channel switches and adapters to be included in products to customers. In a press release Thursday, Ancor said its GigWorks Fibre Channel technology, a data communication product that addresses network bottlenecks, will complement Schlumberger's GeoQuest unit software products and data services to the oil and gas industry.
