We'll see how many employees cheer while they're being walked
to the door. The COB runs the company. You saw how the stock just
really ran up today with the junk spilling from management's mouth.
The investment firms are not fools. If it walks like a duck, talks like
a duck and goes QUACK, it's probably a duck. Facts:
After qtr 3 Ed was to get earnings or get out.
O.K. ,he gave you earnings for qtr4.
To think he didn't know SGI's position prior to disappointment after
management bailed out of their stock, you're either part of the sham
or blind! At least I recognize being played a sucker. Now, to find the
best solution out. My favorite comments of the past were they have
a technological advantage with their superior engineering. RIGHT!
Engineering competence, like a computer, is easily bought.
Management is a gift, not taught in schools. Ed claims to have worked
since 14 without a vacation. I could do the same, but don't have
delusions of being able to run a company, AS HE STILL DOES!
ANGRY+++++++++++ Fool me once and you're a fool. Fool me twice
and I'm the fool!

You say: every "I own 200 shares, f*** you!" person at the shareholders meeting who has not even used an SGI product was taking cheap shots at Ed...

I must say I was at the meeting for the whole time and many people had a lot to say and many were angry, but I don't remember this quote. You give the impression that you don't think 200 shares qualifies an investor to speak his mind at a shareholders meeting. You probably get all your shares at a discount.

The people who ran the meeting did a much better job than last year keeping control of it while getting to everyone's questions.

Hey Mr. Ed lover: Remember these comments?

>>Actually, after looking at the general market, I'm even more comfortable. Almost every tech stock today went down. Even stalwarts like INTC and MSFT came down pretty sharply. And in fact SGI did pretty well vs. some of its competitors who were down even sharper (e.g. SUNW -4.7%, INGR -3.87%) The around-26 points resistance looks pretty solid.
It seems like a general market weakness and nothing like early leaks on a bad quarter. I still assume a quarter that meets or exceeds expectations.<<

Well your recent comments pale in this light:
>>If at all, I would like Ed to stay and help the transition happen as best as he can.<<

Ed's made a fabulous transition already. He has transitioned the money out of my pocket!
