I'll take 1,000,000 shares of Compaq at these levels, and be damned sure to out do msft, dell or any other multi-billion dollar like tech in terms of percent gain over the next twelve months. Load it up, becuase CPQ has the best fundamentals of any computer maker out there. There has been nothing but terrific news about CPQs performance. Market share - eceeding everyone's best expectations. Top and Bot. line - running like a freight train - get out of the way. I truly can't see why anyone would sell CPQ at these bargain basement levels - except that it reminds me of the old joke - HOW MANY MONEY MANAGERS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB? NONE - THEY LIKE TO FOLLOW EACH OTHER IN THE DARK. Well they will take many of the unsophisticated small guys out of the picture. Come on, how can CPQ be a terrific buy at 73 and a lousy one at 62 - Answer is that it cannot. If the fundamentals are there, and we all know they are, its a solid value at these levels. I hate to sound like a bull cheerleader, but this concern that any ruomored troubles that Dell might have should rub off on CPQ are baseless given all of the facts we know are public. My buddy who loaded up on the Nov. 65 calls I believe is in the right and I think I will very well follow him with 50 of my own.
