Thanks Doc,

I'm now taking double the daily upper limit recommendation for Vit D. Yet, my serum D is only near the midpoint of the normal range. As I run outdoors for about an hour daily (6-9 miles) near noon without sunscreen wearing only T-shirt and shorts, I was at a loss to understand what may be happening.

From the article, it seems possible that runners / aerobic exercisers may consume more D than sedentary folk???

In any case, I think everyone should get their Serum D measured; and if deficient, continue to do so until normal levels are established.
