Could a potential Barclays failure be the issue with the GBP?

It appears as if something is amiss across the pond. If not Barclays, then maybe a different Bank.

My wife works at HSBC here in the states and she doesnt have a clue. But the point is I havent heard anything about HSBC and I would think they had plenty of skin in game. BWDIK
