'We'=emerging markets. Europe is a chameleon country. It change its colors to survive and fit into the environment. If fascism is the ideology du jour. They become Fascists. If Social democracy, idem. If democracy idem too. If Communism had own, they would also be comfortably communists. Had we not stopped the Moslems and kicked them back accross the Gibraltar straight, Europeans would be Moslems today and happily so. Once US became the Big Boy they just become lap dogs. It is Europe's survival strategy and instinct. We did not have Kosovo and the aftermath of the Yugo dismantling. We don't parade Protestants inisde a Catholic village a la Ireland.
