It is interesting to note that those who scream the loudest about harvesting forest crops know the least.

Truer words were never spoken.

I was gratified that a paper shredder we bought for the house came boxed in a kraft carton and was packed with pulped paper forms.

I HATE styrofoam, which functions until the box is opened and then becomes a mess that takes up space in landfills. I've heard paint thinner makes it go away, but haven't tried it yet. I have a load of it on the truck right now, along with all our cardboard. The cardboard will recycle, but I have to pay to get rid of the styrofoam. It's only saving grace is that it's light, so I'll pay the minimum fee at the transfer center.

I used to freak out my Sunday School class. If I didn't show up because I was pelting marten, they would come out to check on me.

Foxes are a tough trap. They're pretty smart, so if you successfully trapped them you're a good trapper.

We got $10 bounty for bobcats and $50 for cougar. I never caught a cougar. Those days are over.

Wolves have now recovered to the point where they are having a hunt for 75 animals in Montana. That's a good thing, I think. We need a few good wolves. Just not a lot of them.
