I suspect that several cell-phone providers have decided on a new "standard" for the provision of memory in portable cell-ready computers and cell phones. Flash chips are already used in some cell phones (e.g. Ericsson). Just a hunch.

Sandisk is a "screaming buy" for the long term inverstor - in my opinion.
