Taqi,

It has been a bit since I have seen you.. I agree, LU is a stock that is going to move up up up over the long run.. CPQ I think as well..

On the INTC issue, I agree, buying in the money is a smarter move, but at that price 2 1/2 it seems like such a sweetie.. again, my ST views gets me in trouble..

I like's Tom's method of selling puts to own really good companies at discount prices. Currently, you could sell the Intel Jan 70 Puts for 3 3/8. To think that Intel will still be selling at such a low price in January is outrageous. But if it is at or below 70, you would own Intel for a cost of approximately 67 . . . and at $5 estimate for FY98, that's about 13 1/2 times earnings. Not a bad deal.

Selling INTC Jan 70 puts, anyone? Taqi - I remember seeing some discussion on this recently. Looks like MM's are doing a AMAT on INTC - bringing it down quite hard. I am thinking seriously about selling either the Jan 67 1/2 puts or the 70 puts depending upon what Andy Grive says tomorrow. Anybody else doing this play?
