To use them. The only reason to make something is if they will be used in certain circumstances: <Why develop nukes? They are worthless as offensive weapons because no one dares use them.> They aren't useless as offensive weapons. They work a treat. There has already been a nuclear war and the USA won it and the people who were bombed surrendered unconditionally. With atomic bombs, it's very easy for Iran to conquer any non-nuke country in the vicinity. MAD is theoretically a stable situation but it's not. It's only stable until it isn't. New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and USA President Barack Obama both think it's a good idea to get rid of nukes and that is the only way to be sure of not having somebody pull the trigger. It's far better to not want to fight than to be too frightened to do. My neighbours and I get on together because we want to get on, not because we have a balance of terror among us. Mqurice

Ahmadinejad is not insane in a clinical way, it is his Messianic beliefs that raise question to his sanity,IMO he should be taken seriously. also most think the real Iranian power lies with the Ayatollas but in fact Ahmadinejad, his police and his military have effected a coup over the Cleric... Re atomic bombs and MAD These guys are in charge of MAD in India and Pakistan: youtube.com I wanted to give my neighbour the message like that so I visited here: youtube.com Then I marched up and down our driveway facing my neighbours who were having a cup of tea on their deck. I tried to buy some suitcase nukes to MADden him or at least some Semtex and an AK47 but the SIS came around and took me downtown for questioning. They suggested that my ideas of how to get on with my neighbours were a bit crazy and it might be better if I went to live in a nice place they have where my neighbours won't be so scary. Mqurice
