Your account of the treatment you received at aapl plus the comments from current and former staff that have been posted is similar to the other non retail divisions at the company. My division was decimated due to aapl contact sport corporate treatment.

For many, it has left a sour taste that won't dissipate.

Not sure what M$ corporate is like, but if its just half of aapl'e behavior, they should have no problem poaching the best retail staff talent once they increase the store front locations.

I'd hate to read what happens when a Genius has to have a lung operation.

From your personal experience I'd say you were also confirming the tales from the articles I posted earlier about the working conditions in the Retail stores.

Again the problem is with managers not with the actual health care package which was excellent. The benefits were good the rest made the job a drag.
