Description
The Cow Creek Tour Route is a refreshing break from the steady highway pace; this 45-mile detour wanders with Cow Creek as it dips through the Coast mountain range. The route is spread with quaint farms and ranches, stately forests, massive rock outcroppings, and spring waterfalls.

Depending on the season, you can absorb the plethora of wildflowers or the bright reds and yellows of autumn. The route is covered in history. You can see mines and tailings from the last operating nickel mine and smelter in the continental U.S.

Also, shortly after you pass Tunnel No.1 of the Historic Oregon and California Railroad, you can pan for gold just as miners did nearly 150 years ago. Two steel girder bridges along the route (built in 1905) are still in use today.

So zincman please do not tell me about how "good" the folk in
those types of areas are (the murdering complacent and
complicit hangeronner types), in some way a lot of them NOT
ALL are bigots, undereducated, under exposed to the world, and
just plain F'ing dumber (or more ignorant)than a turd in a cat
box.

People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect
Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide
for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and
secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our
Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for

I know things have gotten out of hand in WA. DC the last few
decades but the people IMO are still the government. And
hopefully most of us are decent folk that can use our brains
on occasion.

Let the detractors say how bad we are and let them be stars on
certain threads with a lot of bookmarks and followers but to
me they are seditious crybabies and the true cowards. Railing
daily with hate filled posts of baloney is not going to improve things.

on "this type" ... given that you live a couple thousand
miles away from Franklin, Kentucky?

Surely they had to be like the working families in small town
Pennsylvania that Obama ridiculed for "clinging to their God
and their guns."

I mean aren't all white people, especially those from rural
communities who believe in God, and wish to retain their
2nd amendment rights, a bunch of violent, racist, seditious,
tea baggers?

Evidently Tom, you didn't know about "this type" any better
than Obama knew about the hard working people of Pennsylvania,
or that police officer in Cambridge.

Funny how in the end, we always find out who the "real" haters

FRANKFORT — "A part-time U.S. Census worker found dead near a
secluded Clay County cemetery killed himself but tried to make
the death look like a murder, authorities have concluded.

Bill Sparkman, 51, of London, apparently was trying to
preserve payments under life insurance policies he had taken
out, one as recently as May, which paid benefits if he died as
a result of murder or accident, but not suicide or natural
causes, police said."
