Tommaso, an elderly relative of mine (approaching 100) was caught in one of these frauds - the australian lottery.

she resisted a bit - it took them several calls, but by the end they had all her information and were all set to raid her bank account. we visit her about 2 times a year and we just happened to be at her home when the final call came in.

long story short, we were able to get her son to work with her to get her account changed before they could loot her savings - and she had some decent cash in there, too.

in short, you aren't there target audience... yet. ;-)
