Really? Why is that? Your contention is that if presently unaffordable houses become less affordable it will increase demand for new construction? Or are you clinging to the model of people, who are already drowning in debt, borrowing even more against the paper value of their homes?

There isn't enough income. That's what's messed things up. Another asset bubble won't help.
