We know. SS has a "cash" surplus.

Of course, cash method accounting is specifically not allowed for any PUBLIC pension plan for the reason that it doesn't clearly reflect income or financial position. But, it is okay for SS, right?

You do not know enough accounting to discuss this subject with me. Clearly, you never had, or at least didn't do well in, your very first accounting course where this was covered at length.
