>>Anyone with an IQ higher than a rock already knows that we are on an unsustainable path that is sure to end badly because of the massive unfunded promises of medicare, medicaid, and social security, combined with already existing outrageous foreign obligations and massive deficits needed to support our empire abroad, all those programs, and interest payments currently.<<

over $1.25 million per non retiree household above the poverty line.

that's UNFUNDED. which means it is OVER AND ABOVE all the taxes already being paid. it is a MARGINAL $1.25 million.

and all we get from the government and much of the citizenry is "how can we spend more money?"

and the citizens not for breaking the bank even further are labeled "tea baggers."

>>It's OVER Zeus. It's a matter of when the fat lady sings. It may be within 10 years or it may be 30 years from now, but it's over unless we gut this government. Those in power are too corrupt and incompetent to lead us out of this. Even if they weren't, the financial elites are more than willing to use the Federal Reserve to gut the country and enrich themselves.<<

it's over regardless. we past the point of no return a long time ago. it is now every person for themselves - which is why bullets have tripled over the last couple of years.

given the debt levels and affinity of government to increase spending to transfer wealth to the oligarchs, there is only one solution - significant inflation that wipes out the value of the dollar.

it might take a while to set in - maybe as long as 3-5 years.

but set in it will as that is the *only* way government can make the debt manageable short of dramatically shrinking government to almost nothing (won't happen!).

even increasing taxes won't work now as that will choke the economy and cause it to roll over and erode tax receipts even more.

america has a fiscal fork stuck in its *ss.

the fat lady has sung, but most folks are to dense to pick up the tune.
