>>Apple's site STILL sucks. I was trying to find out how much they charge for Leopard. Couldn't do it. Still not working with the latest version of Firefox. Even using Safari their search, and organization sucks.<<

Doren -

Leopard has been discontinued. Apple doesn't sell it anymore, which may be one reason you can't find a price for it on Apple's site.

But I think that going to Store, then choosing "Mac Software" from the left-hand column is a fairly reasonable path to finding out how much their current operating system costs.

By the way, from what I was reading today, Snow Leopard is already running on Hackintoshes. Even version 10.6.1.

And I think you're right. Apple is not really concerned about this, because they figure they're getting a lot of software sales out of it, and because it's just good advertising in general.
