Chile paid for it's private retirement system.

Bush NEVER HAD THE MONEY to convert privatize Social Security, as he was already running huge annual deficits.

Chile's retirement system has a rather "short" history, don't ya think?

The U.S. Social Security system would have NO problems if it had been kept competely SEPARATE from from the U.S. general budget.

If Social Security had been handled as an INDEPENDENT retirement system it would probably have $10 TRILLION or more in it's accounts now.
