Kenneth

Sometimes our memories are not completely accurate---particularly of things that happened when we were children.

From what I know of WWII it is a fact that the Japanese who lived here were under suspicion in the USA for reason-----

Pearl Harbor happened!! Iwo Jima Happened!! That was war-when one is in a war, it isn't nice----but one thing I have learned that you fight to win, not to lose.

Suggestion, when I believe that I know the facts of a past time, I call my brothers or my friends to get their recall. Sometimes it coincides and sometimes it puts in perspective the memories I have which need clarifying.

For now, it seems to me that we need to deal with what is in front of us----------what is in the present and is now affecting us and will affect us and our families in the future.

Your recollection is what it is, although because of census figures, it goes against probability. I found it interesting that such a large percentage of Japanese moved back to the coasts after the war, that had lived in Minnesota during the war.
