That's what Shirley did with her mother's ashes. They planted a few flower on her father's grave, then planted her mom.

My mother wanted to take my father's ashes into her coffin when she's buried. I inquired about that when they buried my uncle a couple years ago. The cemetery will charge us to open a second grave site to do this. Is that the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard?

My brother and I decided not to even tell mom about that. We both know that one of dad's last requests was to scatter his ashes on Shadow Mountain Lake, where they had a beautiful lake shore summer home for many years. We'll do that instead.

LOL We ARE related........I just know it. Actually........it looks like doing that is common practice. Do you also say "hello" every time you pass a cemetery where a family member is buried?

I do!
