<Question for all...why is 3COM trading at such a low multiple, yet it is generally considered a very close #2 to Cisco?

Cisco is the dominant player and therefor is expected to beat out 3COM in the long run (like Microsoft and Intel beat out all competition.) Those who invest for the long term are not looking at current EPS or even near future EPS. Thus, they favor CSCO, independent of what COMS is doing right now.

(Other eplanations welcomed.)

Regards,

MS

There were several large blocks totaling 700,000 shares traded at around 3:25 pm today.

There were also 2 large blocks of about 300,000 shares traded this morning.

Dow Jones said they were done on an uptick and I believe it was above the ask at the time.

Did anybody else notice this and can confirm it was a buy?

Earnings next Tuesday!!

Sorry that no one on this thread told you the real reason why COMS is tanking.

They fudge the books...
