>>But the Touch can do Wifi and the Dell needs a card to do WiFi. Correct?<<

Doren -

No, the Dell Vostro A90 comes with a WiFi card. It's 802.11g only, but it's there.

As of this morning, the price for that unit, with Ubuntu, is only $219 with the 8GB SSD drive, or $269 with 16GB.

At those prices, there's no way Dell's margins compete with Apple's margins on the Touch.

PS: You can also use the official Apple 802.11b/g/n Airport Extreme card in the Vostro, from what I've read.

This is hilarious - between the time this conversational thread started and now the Dell dropped like ~4% in price.

But to answer your question: incorrect, it ships with Wifi.
