I'm not against the random searches of people who don't match the obvious profile. If the TSA really only focused on the middle eastern looking 18-40yo male, if I was al qaeda, i would find the most whitebread female to recruit for terrorism. there are a lot of depressed and angry people out there of all races who could be turned to do something as an act of revenge against a world that they feel wronged them. there are white muslims, asian muslims, black muslims. We can't count on the obvious profile to stop the next attack. That's not to say that we shouldn't scrutinize the obvious candidates.
