Why do you continue to deny the existence of the Blix reports....he was sent to Iraq to find WMD is they existed.....he didn't and reported on it 4 times. Why do you deny this and hang on to the propaganda of the Bushies...

First, every Democrat who voted for the Iraq War knew the results of Blix's inspections and yet voted to go to war anyway. Including Clinton, Rockefeller, and Fienstein. Thus, the Blix inspections aren't relevant to the discussion, and that's why your words are meaningless.

HOWEVER. Had you read Blix's excellent book on the subject (Disarming Iraq), you would know that Blix is clear in his account that he believes Bush would NOT have gone to war had ne not been convinced of Saddam's WMD. I repeat: Blix says, in his own book in his own words, that he believes Bush BELIEVED that Saddam had the WMD, and that Bush would NOT have gone to war otherwise.

So, the liberal argument using Blix's inspections is, on its face, ridiculous. Blix has blamed what he calls "monumental" failures in US and British intel and believes that the US, in particular, placed too much reliance on Iraqi defectors in gather the intel. Which is probably correct.

ALSO IN HIS BOOK, he points out that HE, himself, believed the WMD existed prior to the invasion. That's right. Blix, himself, believed it. But he says that it was based on "gut feel", not the outcome of the inspections.

And, of course, he does feel that inspections should have continued rather than the move to invasion.

But the point is that Blix, in his own words, has debunked everything you have said. Every point you have made is contrary to Blix's OWN conclusions.

So, I suggest you STFU about Blix until you know a little more about what he has and hasn't said. You might start by reading his book.
