No doubt about this. People were willing to vote for "change" without having the slightest idea what "change" meant. That willingness clearly related to their unhappiness with Bush.

We gave Obama a stack of blank checks and he's been cashing them daily since January.

I am so sorry that you don't believe my opposition to the expansion existed or was puny. The scale of the government expansions during President Bush 43's terms were not as drastic s the massive government takeovers under Obama. It was not nearly as scary.
