I wonder if your post is in the same spirit as mine..... I was talking with smoothsail about the seeming denial by a large portion of the population (including myself to some degree) of what Obama is doing. The reason for the denial is that sane people will resist and dismiss something that seems like a conspiracy theory. In a way it is the opposite of the "Big Lie" en.wikipedia.org "It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation." and I swear that I am not invoking Hitler, I thought of the "big lie" and looked it up and wouldn't you know it...it's a hitlerian concept. Anyway, Obama is more like the "Big Truth", the story that we are hearing is just too absurd to be true. Seriously, there is no way that the President would be so foolish as to: -Hire a czar who is a 9/11 truther, avowed communist, supporter of murderers -Hire an attorney general who dismisses an open and shut case against black panthers for voter intimidation -Fires an inspector general of one of the organizations that one of his buddies heads up. -Disavows and real knowledge of ACORN, a group he represented as a lawyer and who he names in speeches as the group he will seek advice from. -Fires the president of a private corporation -Gives the control of private corporations to unions in a blatant violation of contract law -Went to the church of a racist hater of America for 20 years, and yet doesn't agree with his views. -Has one degree of separation with two founders of the weather underground and yet claims to have no connection. -Decreases the number of border patrolmen/women on the southern border when the threat of terrorists is the highest. -Spurns israel as an ally -embraces and panders to muslim nations who are clearly not our friends. The list goes on.... But, the obvious truth is just too crazy to be believed. It is truly the opposite of the Big Lie....... Obama is the Big Truth....that we just do not, cannot, believe.
