In the above post, inode made this claim:

"Or the advances might just not happen. In the last five years 80% of the new lifesaving drugs have come from America. Drugs that are typically available here before they are in other countries.

While its true, the US is a leader in drug research, the reality is we come up with roughly 39% of the new drugs discovered in the world, and not 80% as claimed by inode:

"As of 2008, the United States is the leader in medical research, including pharmaceutical development. U.S. drug prices are among the highest in the world, and drug innovation is correspondingly high. In 2000 U.S. based firms developed 29 of the 75 top-selling drugs; firms from the second-largest market, Japan, developed eight, and the United Kingdom contributed 10. France, which imposes price controls, developed three. Throughout the 1990s outcomes were similar.[9]:30-31"

This flagrant dishonesty permeates the entire R culture and won't be eradicated simply by voting out more Rs.

>> Do you even HAVE a reason you think bin Laden brought down the towers?

I have clearly stated why it happened. You have yet to do so.
