Mary they are part of society. If the majority can't get it together on this, or if a large clump can't (and especially if the large clump of people who would benefit can't) why should I really care that much? I mean you can offer people a steak dinner, but do you really have to be all sad if they won't eat it? If a starving man turns down a steak dinner, I'm not going to chase him with it, or call him a victim of anything other than his own stupidity. I do feel sorry for the people who need reform and who won't get it- they are the victims in this.
