Bentway, > You can't answer exactly HOW bin Laden was going to "steal our freedoms"

It's not much of a free society if you can't go to a mall/train station/football game/skyscraper/airport without the fear of a bomb blowing up in your face.

Terrorists take advantage of our freedoms to move through our society undetected and spread havoc in heavily populated areas. The more they strike, the greater the need to sacrifice these freedoms for security.

And it doesn't take much to spread terror, either. Just look at the two sniper idiots who held the D.C. metropolitan area hostage for two months.

It's a minor miracle that in this society of open borders, no interstate checkpoints, and no Big Brother tracking your every move, we haven't been attacked since 9/11/2001. You can stick your head in the sand and take all of that for granted, or you can recognize that our freedoms aren't free.

But that might mean sobering up to reality for you, which I doubt you'll want to do. That's why you "could never understand," especially as you continue to play the troll who can't take what he can dish out ten times over.

That bastard has cost me two small key chain mounted swiss army knives and a few bottles of pepsi and shampoo at the airport. Not to mention how difficult it is to greet people at the gates now if at all possible. Try going to Mexico or Canada without a passport now days?
