8 bites? that would do it. and benadryl is wonderful stuff. I keep the liquid around, which acts faster.

I lived with a black snake under the couch I slept on for quite awhile. but they not poisonous and I figured it ate the mice. It'd come out after lights out, except for one day when we suprised each other (when I knew for sure it was there, until then I'd wake up in the night and swear I saw a lil slithering figure but think 'nah'), anyways... so I'm lying on the couch then go to stand up, swing my overs and... freeze in mid-air, staring up at me, up from under the couch about level with my feet is this black snake, tongue going wild, eyes big and wary. he froze too. we held our positions. then he slipped back under the couch and I stood up.

I didn't have a mouse problem at the time, though.

which has nothing to do with spiders or benedryl or how the rude black widow tried to kill me. I digressed?
