job market? at a community college near me, the enrollment went up from 14,000 or so last fall to 17,000+ this fall, that's a pretty crazy jump in one year

September reading of Chicago Purchasing Managers Index comes in at 46.1, a contraction from 50.0 reading in August; the September reading was expected to be 52.0, up two points from August. US stocks selloff, DJIA down 94; Nasdaq off 18; S&P 500 off 10. Industrials, consumer discretionary lead sector decliners. (JAB)
