He was a serial offender (the judge was pissed that Polanski, who was supposedly out making a movie, showed up in a barful of apparently underaged girls). His relationship with Kinski started when she was just 15. The guy deserves to spend some time in prison. It was offensive to me that he could escape justice just by being a movie director. Where is The Godfather when you need him? He could tame a director in a hurry. I hope they put his ass under the jail and I wouldn't mind if they put Whoopi Goldberg under it with him.
