Well, he promised to in his campaign. I don't think he's decided whether to go that way yet. He deciding now.

I hope he chooses to get the hell out and cut our losses. Bush was there eight years and accomplished absolutely nothing more that putting a totally corrupt government in place instead of the Taliban, who had ended poppy production there, but also hosted Osama.

I don't see why Obama should just continue Bush's mistakes. Neither war Bush got us into has "won" us anything.

The only reason I can see for him to stay is to preempt the howls of his enemies if we get struck again by terrorists. But, they'll howl whatever he does. Look at Dave.
