Another point I would pursue.

First, the Declaration is doing just that "declaring who we are"----the Declaration of Independence.

Second, the Constitution describes the Constituting(the forming and organization) of the government(of the body, of the organization)

Go to Roberts Rules of Order, original and revised-------the Constitution of a body, in this case America sets the parameters, of operation.

We can amend the constitution with approval of the people of the individual states----the Declaration of Independence does not get amended.

Now is that right??? Working from recall.

mj

P.S.

Obama described this as a rag-----well I as an American take offense-------I believe the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are eloquently written and well thought out by our ancestors.

Jefferson's remarks were made in the early 1800's, a mere 200 years ago.

So now we have this "young whipper snapper" thinking because he went to Harvard and became a "constitutional lawyer" that he knows everything there is to know about the Constitution.

If Obama doesn't like it he can go to Kenya and be their President.

What President in our history has insulted the American people more than Obama? I know of none.
