If you dislike the concept of rights granted by God......just think of them as rights you are born with....and the idea of the Constitution and Bill of Rights is to restrict governments from too much interference in those rights you are born with.

That contradicts what you said earlier about the Constitution granting rights. I am glad you came around.

The Constitution grants rights no mater what others claim.

The founders saw it otherwise they viewed our rights as coming from God. If we view our constitution in this way they cannot be taken from us. If we view them as a creation of the State, it simply means the State can take our rights. From the standpoint of preserving our rights, I believe they came from God. Otherwise I am forced to acknowledge that the Government has the right to take them from me.
