Congratulations, Naomi!

I hope you enjoyed your reunion. I've never attended one, except for the 40th of my forestry class.

It was great. Part of it was out in the woods.

Congrats Naomi, and a great story! We had our 50th HS Reunion last June 2008, had about 300 classmates from the about 650 who graduated in our class....plus their spouses at the dinner dance on the Saturday night. Between the meeting at the old school on Fri, the dinner on Sat, and the brunch on Sunday, we all had lots of time to gab and talk about old memories. We too have a large group of who stay in touch, and as you say, many are like extended family.

Another HUGE Congrats for being cancer free for 8 years!

...eight years of survival of Colon Cancer,

Congratulations on this important event. Cancer took my wife, as most here know, nearly 15 years ago. On Monday, my pastor's wife will have a mastectomy, as they've discovered her with cancer. She is 57 years old and a history of family cancer. Her twin brother is on and off radiation and chemo for the past couple of years. We have two other parishioners with cancer right now. A terrible disease!

Sounds like a wonderful time. I think the 8th anniversary of being cured of colon cancer is the most wonderful thing of all.

Been to the casino of late? We are heading to Las Vegas the end of the month for our 30th wedding anniversary. Looking forward to getting away.
