Stockman,

I am not saying that Kurlak's downgrade caused Intel's decline to the low 80s. However, Kurlak did depress Intel a few points just before earnings by saying that it would not meet expectations. It does not matter that he was not unique in this regard, he was correct.

I know that Kurlak is prone to showmanship and manipulation and I don't think he is any god. Furthermore, he should have seen this coming a lot sooner than he did. Your point about him being lucky has some merit. However, blasting him for this one call is sour grapes. The bottom line is that if we had followed his advice when INTC was at 97, we would be a lot better off on paper than we are now. However, since both of us are not traders, his advice is not all that relevent to us.
