Kevin,

Re: "Any comments on the 1.8 volt mobile K6 233?"

My comment is that AMD is getting closer to offering a competitive
process ... but, my understanding (correct me if I am wrong, Paul) is
that the Tillamook is a lower voltage .25um part. I believe the
voltage on this part will be 1.5V - 1.6V. This means the Tillamook
will run "cooler" at the same speed or for the same power dissipation,
the Tillamook will run faster than the mobile K6.

It has also been reported that the desktop K6 in .25um has a supply
voltage that is greater than 2.0V ... would you Kevin like to comment
on this ?? (Note: Intel's .25um desktop CPU's will operate at 1.8V)

Make It So,
Yousef

Kevin - Re: "Any comments on the 1.8 volt mobile K6 233?"

This came out of England, and from a sales person. How true it is remains to be seen.

It does, however, agree with the prediction I made 10 days ago - that the K6 in a notebook would come out at 200 or 233 Mhz and NOT 266 MHz:
