My money is too valuable to me to ignore the "Daves" totally. RE: the SEA currency situation, I don't think that the companies know what is going to happen yet - I think it is too soon to expect guidance in CCs held this week.

Scott,
I agree completely that all sides should be considered. However, IMO at this time the upside potential FAR exceeds the downside risk. I believe that the market has discounted the fact that there may be a reversal of this recovery, something which I do not believe will come to fruition. Regarding the bearish posts, there is no shortage of bears when the sky is falling. It seems that once things turn south, sentiment changes even if the fundamentals have not. However, if one can separate the facts from the noise I believe they will find many compelling values in this group. BTW, I margined before the fall @ 46 and did so again today @ 32.

Regards,

brian

Scott,

If you are pretty heavily margined already, I certainly wouldn't recommend extending yourself further in this shaky market. Although I think AMAT is a strong buy here, there is much instability in the market now. It is not moving on logic or value, but knee jerk reaction to just about anything.

On the other hand, if your margin debt is very low ...

Be smart, be safe. Best of luck.
