>>"The ONLY chance we have to survive as a species is massive education."<,

Real simple. I was ignorant as a post, until I started college. I remember how I saw the world. The world to me in those days was pure fantasy and mostly involved concrete realities close to me. Like a new car.

I was still in awe of status, power and money. Today they mean nothing to me. At all! And had no idea what Plato or Sartre were talking about.

As I became more educated I started to change dramatically. My kids said the same thing. A developed mind is much differeent than an undeveloped mind.

E.g. one cannot see what one does not understand. So the more one knows the mroe they see e.g. existentialism.

If we do not have massive education, too many people will make National Enquirer decisions. FOX! By the way, the National Equirer sells more copies thant Newsweek, time and US News and world report combined.

Today I do understand Plato and Sartre.

I am old enough to tell the truth as I see it without ego. I am way beyond ego. Age and the nearnesss of death has a way of doing that.
